The paper's English travel news service has contributed toward better understanding of local travel trade industries for members of foreign community in Korea , especially those in the travel trade business.

As part of our efforts to better serve our foreign readers in the new year, the English news print edition will discontinue by the third week of January 2008, but it will go online ( www.koreatraveltimes .co.kr) with daily updates.

The decision to this effect has been made by the editorial staff in a bid to provide our valued readers with the latest travel trade news and updates on a daily basis - a departure from the past of having a once a week circulation which has been put in place for the past five years since 2003.

The Korea Travel Times was launched in 1992 as the weekly travel trade journal and has since played a crucial role in providing our readers with the latest news on travel trade activities here and abroad, especially news related to WTO and PATA. The once-a-week news print edition was eventually changed into twice a week in 2000.

We have also joined hands with leading pollsters in Korea to conduct market surveys in the recent past years to provide our readers as well as members of travel trade industries with valuable marketing data for effective approach to Korea 's market.

We are quite confident that timing of news reports is very important, not to mention the credibility of news.

With the introduction of online English travel trade news service with daily updates, we will be able to come closer to our valued readers.

The Korea Travel Times launched its sister weekly magazine ¡°Travie¡± in 2005 for in-depth news coverage of travel trade activities as well as travel destinations worldwide.

The Korean language travel trade magazine has since gained a solid foothold serving our readers with diverse travel-related information with colorful photos.
